This will be another exciting year for the Odyssey music program. We have both orchestra and chorus as well as music appreciation and theory classes for all grades.

If you can afford it, renting or buying a violin will greatly assist your child realize their full musical potential.

Amazon is selling violins for as low as $40.00. All students who are learning the violin are encouraged to buy one. Click HERE for link to a 3/4 size violin on Amazon.

All violin students are asked to practice 20 minutes a day for a total of 2 hours a week.

3rd through 6th graders have been working in a violin book called "String Basics book 1". This book can be purchased HERE or from Atlantic strings for $8.95.

The upper campus orchestra will be using Essential Elements 2000 as the violin book. It can also be purchased online or at Atlantic Strings for $8.95.

First Grade students performed Gilbert and Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance" at the Melbourne Mall in 2007.
